The World Bank Smart Cities Knowledge Silo Breaker (KSB) Community of Practice aims to facilitate knowledge sharing among policy makers, development practitioners, academia and NGO/CSOs by providing following services to community members:
Advising clients to adopt smart practices to enhance political, technological and financial capacity
Reducing material and energy consumption in cities while ensuring quality infrastructure and reliability of energy and competiveness
Reducing transaction times and costs of routine and specialized urban services to both households and business – with a focus on incidence to the poor
Empowering citizens and stakeholders through technology to actively participate in budgeting, planning and defining solutions through accountability and feedback on service quality
