Shangha is located in the Yangtze River Delta, it sits on the south edge of the estuary of the Yangtze in the middle portion of the East China coast. It is one of the four direct-controlled municipalities of China and the most populous city in the world, with a population of more than 24 million as of 2017. 

Cixi is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of the sub-provincial city of Ningbo, Zhejiang. At the 2010 census, its population was 1,462,383. Its urban agglomeration built-up (or metro) area, largely contiguous with Cixi plus the county-level city of Yuyao, had 2,473,042 inhabitants.

Cixi is an important manufacturing city in northern Zhejiang province.

Beijing, is the capital of the People's Republic of China, the world's second most populous city proper, and most populous capital city. The city is located in northern China. Beijing Municipality is surrounded by Hebei Province with the exception of neighboring Tianjin Municipality to the southeast; together the three divisions form the Jingjinji metropolitan region and the national capital region of China. Beijing's Municipality has 21,700,000 inhabitants. The encompassing metropolitan area was estimated by the OECD to have, as of 2010, a population of 24.9 million.

The 150,000 m2 Lilacs International Commerce Centre, located in Shanghai, has an integrated total building management system from Siemens. The central command centre is equipped with full analytics and reporting functions, covering every aspect of the building’s performance: building automation, fire safety and security, lighting, and power distribution.

Triangulum (Eindhoven, Manchester, Stavanger, Leipzig, Sabadell, Prague, and Tianjin - European Countries and China)

The Triangulum “lighthouse” programme was launched in February 2015 and it will be developed until January 2020. Triangulum received €25.4 million funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (the overall budget of the programme is €29.5 million).

Shenzhen is a major coastal city in Guangdong Province, China. It forms part of the Pearl River Delta megalopolis. The city is located immediately north of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and holds sub-provincial administrative status, with powers slightly less than a province.

Wanxiang Innova City (Hangzhou - China)

Wanxiang is working on the construction of a mega-city called Innova City. It will be built from scratch on the river bank in Hangzhou, capital of the Zhejiang Province, which is adjacent to Shangai. Hangzhou is the upcoming Tier 1 city in China, and it is also the city of choice for a lot of companies to locate their headquarters. Hangzhou, like Shangai, is divided in two parts by the river Qiantang.
