National Conference on Knowledge Management for Smart Cities
The organized a National Conference titled "Knowledge Management for Smart Cities" in Hotel Shangri La, New Delhi on June 21-22, 2017 during which “Knowledge Portal for Indian Smart Cities” was launched. Ms. Jane Treadwell, Practice Manager of ICT Global Practice of along with Dr. Shashank Ojha and senior dignitaries for multiple cities launched the portal and participated in the conference, in addition to host of senior experts on Smart cities for Korea, Netherlands and other European countries.
The purpose of the conference and the knowledge portal is to enable Indian practitioner's benefit from the learnings of global experts and their peers while implementing Smart City initiatives. The conference program was aimed at building a strong communication among the community of Smart City practitioners, government officers, researchers and academia for sharing of learning practices. The knowledge portal on smart cities is developed under the KGGTF initiative of the . The mission of India - ICT Enabled Integration for Green Growth project of the is to accelerate the deployment of state of the art Pan City ICT solution in India by enabling sharing of learning practices among the policy makers, academic institutions, civil society and the industry.
