The Smart Cities Knowledge Silo Breaker (KSB)

The Smart Cities Knowledge Silo Breaker (KSB) Community of Practice aims to facilitate knowledge sharing among policy makers, development practitioners, academia and NGO/CSOs by providing following services to community members:

• Advising clients to adopt smart practices to enhance political, technological and financial capacity
• Reducing material and energy consumption in cities while ensuring quality infrastructure and reliability of energy and competiveness
• Reducing transaction times and costs of routine and specialized urban services to both households and business – with a focus on incidence to the poor
• Empowering citizens and stakeholders through technology to actively participate in budgeting, planning and defining solutions through accountability and feedback on service quality
