Allahabad local Hindustani pronunciation: or Prayag is a large metropolitan city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Allahabad is the oldest living city in India after Varanasi. The city's original name – Prayag, or "place of offerings" – comes from its position at the Sangam (confluence) of the Ganga, Yamuna and Sarasvati rivers. It plays a central role in Hindu scriptures.

Tiruchirappalli also called Tiruchi or Trichy, is a major tier II city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and the administrative headquarters of Tiruchirappalli District.

The textile industry provides employment to over six lakh people and contributed to exports worth 200 billion (US$3.1 billion) in 2014-15. Tiruppur is also known as the knitwear capital of India.

Naya Raipur is serving as the administrative capital of the State and also caters to the infrastructural needs of industry and trade in the region. Naya Raipur is surrounded by the cities of Raipur, Arang, Mahasamund, Rajim and Abhanpur. Naya Raipur covers an area of about 8000 hectares.
