Thoothukudi, also known as Tuticorin, is a port city and a municipal corporation and an industrial city in Thoothukudi district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The city lies in the Coromandel Coast of Bay of Bengal.

Pimpri Chinchwad, also known as Navi Pune, is a part of Pune in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is the urban agglomeration of Pune. It consists of the towns of Pimpri, Chinchwad, Nigdi, Akurdi, Ravet, Bhosari, Pimple Gurav, Moshi, Punawale, and Sangavi, which are governed by a common municipal body (the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation or PCMC). It has been divided into sectors for proper planning of the city. It is located to the north-west and is connected to the centre of Pune city via the Old Pune-Mumbai Highway.

Bengaluru (also called Bangalore) is the capital of India's southern Karnataka state.  It has a population of over ten million,[9] making it a megacity and the third most populous city and fifth most populous urban agglomeration in India. It is located in southern India on the Deccan Plateau. Its elevation is over 900 m (3,000 ft) above sea level, the highest of India's major cities.

Karimnagar is a Municipal Corporation and district headquarters of Karimnagar district of Telangana state. It is situated on the banks of Manair River, which is a tributary of the Godavari River. It is the fourth largest and fastest growing urban settlement in the state, according to 2011 census. It has registered a population growth rate of 45.46% and 38.87% respectively over the past two decades between 1991 and 2011, which is highest growth rate among major cities of Telangana.

Amaravati is the capital city of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a newly planned city which derives its name from the ancient Amaravathi town located in Guntur district. Newly planned city of Amaravati along with neighboring Vijayawada, Guntur and Tenali forms the Metropolitan region of Amaravati namely Andhra Pradesh Capital Region which is the largest populated region of Andhra Pradesh state with a population of 5.8 million as of 2011 census which is governed by APCRDA.

Naya Raipur is a city located between National Highways NH-6 and NH-43, about 17 km south-east of the current capital Raipur; Swami Vivekananda Airport separates the old and new cities. Naya Raipur is serving as the administrative capital of the State and also caters to the infrastructural needs of industry and trade in the region. Naya Raipur is surrounded by the cities of Raipur, Arang, Mahasamund, Rajim and Abhanpur. Naya Raipur covers an area of about 8000 hectares.

Tumkur (officially renamed as Tumakuru) is the district headquarters of Tumkur district. It is one of the industrial cities located in the state of Karnataka. Since 28 August 2010, Tumkur has been accorded the status of a City Corporation. Tumkur plays host for India's first mega food park which is a project of the ministry of food processing. The India Food Park was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in September 2014.

Pune is a city located in the state of Maharashtra in western India. It is the second largest city in the state after the state capital, Mumbai. A pride of the Peshwas, the city was an epicentre of the Maratha Empire in the 18th century. Considered to be the cultural capital of Maharashtra, Pune is known as "Oxford of the East" due to the presence of several well-known educational institutions in the city.

Ahmedabad also known as Amdavad is the largest city and former capital of Gujarat, which is a state in India. Ahmedabad has emerged as an important economic and industrial hub in India. It is the second largest producer of cotton in India, and its stock exchange is the country's second oldest. In 2010, Ahmedabad was ranked third in Forbes's list of fastest growing cities of the decade.In 2012, The Times of India chose Ahmedabad as India's best city to live in. As of 2014, Ahmedabad's estimated gross domestic product was $64 billion.
