Tiruchirappalli also called Tiruchi or Trichy, is a major tier II city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and the administrative headquarters of Tiruchirappalli District.

Thoothukudi, also known as Tuticorin, is a port city and a municipal corporation and an industrial city in Thoothukudi district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The city lies in the Coromandel Coast of Bay of Bengal.

Tirunelveli also known as Nellai and historically (during British rule) as Tinnevelly, is a major city in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Tirunelveli an ancient city is about 2000 years old and is a town of hoary tradition. Thamirabarani River flows here gives pride to the city. Tirunelveli is the capital of Tirunelveli District.

Tiruppur or Tirupur is a city in the Kongu Nadu region of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Tiruppur is a major textile and knit wear hub contributing to 90% of total cotton knit wear exports from India. The textile industry provides employment to over six lakh people and contributed to exports worth 200 billion (US$3.1 billion) in 2014-15. Tiruppur is also known as the knitwear capital of India.

Vellore is part of Tondaimandalam (Tondai Nadu), a city and the administrative headquarters of Vellore District in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Thanjavur, formerly Tanjore, is a city in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Thanjavur is an important center of South Indian religion, art, and architecture. Its many temples include the 11th-century Brihadeeswarar Temple, a vast Chola dynasty–era complex with a frescoed interior, which are UNESCO World Heritage Monuments too. The foremost among these, the Brihadeeswara Temple, is located in the centre of the city. Thanjavur is also home to Tanjore painting, a painting style unique to the region.

Salem is a city in Salem district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Salem is a major textile centre in Tamil Nadu, with more than 125 spinning mills, weaving units and garment units. Until the 1960s, it had less few spinning mills. Private handloom weaving began to increase in the region after the 1960s and during the 1980s, the textile industry expanded with major spinning mills and dying units established supporting the industry. The area also houses a number of sago factories for the production starch.

Madurai is an energetic, ancient city on the Vaigai River in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Located on the banks of River Vaigai, Madurai has been a major settlement for two millennia. The city is known for its entrepreneurship of its residents. The climate is comfortable round the year.. The city is situated on the banks of the river Noyyal.

Chennai (formerly known as Madras) is the capital of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Located on the Coromandel Coast off the Bay of Bengal, it is one of the biggest cultural, economic and educational centres in South India. According to the 2011 Indian census, it is the fifth-largest city and fourth-most populous urban agglomeration in India.
