Panaji City is the administrative and political capital of the state of Goa, located in the Tiswadi Taluka of North Goa. It lies in the Konkan region and is well connected to all parts of the country by road, rail and air network. It is one of the fastest growing cities of Goa, administered by the ‘Corporation of the City of Panaji’ (CCP). Economy is driven majorly by tourism since it is a popular and an attractive tourist destination nationally as well as internationally.

Pasighat is the headquarters of East Siang district in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Situated at the eastern foothills of the Himalayas at 155 meters above mean sea level, Pasighat is Arunachal's oldest town.

Pimpri Chinchwad, also known as Navi Pune, is a part of Pune in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is the urban agglomeration of Pune. It consists of the towns of Pimpri, Chinchwad, Nigdi, Akurdi, Ravet, Bhosari, Pimple Gurav, Moshi, Punawale, and Sangavi, which are governed by a common municipal body (the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation or PCMC). It has been divided into sectors for proper planning of the city. It is located to the north-west and is connected to the centre of Pune city via the Old Pune-Mumbai Highway.

Port Blair is the capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, a union territory of India situated in the Bay of Bengal. It is also the local administrative sub-division (tehsil) of the islands, the headquarters for the district of South Andaman, and is the territory's only notified town. The small islands here were home to British colonists during India’s pre-independence period.

Puducherry formerly known as Pondicherry , is a union territory of India. It was formed out of four exclaves of former French India, namely Pondichéry (Pondicherry; now Puducherry), Karikal (Karaikal), Mahé and Yanaon (Yanam). It is named after the largest district, Puducherry. Historically known as Pondicherry, the territory changed its official name to Puducherry on 20 September 2006.

Pune is a city located in the state of Maharashtra in western India. It is the second largest city in the state after the state capital, Mumbai. A pride of the Peshwas, the city was an epicentre of the Maratha Empire in the 18th century. Considered to be the cultural capital of Maharashtra, Pune is known as "Oxford of the East" due to the presence of several well-known educational institutions in the city.
